My parents visit Holland

My parents visited us for 2 weeks, we had a very good time together.

The weather was wonderful, we were able to visit many places in Holland and Paris.
Peter took a few days off from school and went out together.

6th Anniversary in Paris

Peter is biking

Around 2 months ago, Peter started to bike without the side wheels. I still remember the first moment I saw him biking with his smile on his face. It was like seeing him first walking on his own. Happy tear almost came out my eye.

I need to thank my friend borrow the small lower bike for Peter to bike on, it really helps him to learn. Also I need to thank Peter's school friends make Peter wanted to bike together.

Soon after Peter knowing how to bike, we have asked Wim's father to help buying a nice bike to Peter. Wim's father did a good job and found this beautiful bike. Now Peter bike very often to school and around home and sometime bike with Wim. I am sure Peter bike better than me ;D

Peter put it together

Peter got this toy in HK about 3 months ago. I have asked a friend to put it together when he first have it. Then we just let Peter play without taking it apart, because I thought at least 1 or 2 year later then he might know how to do it. It is not an easy toy.

But a few days ago, somehow the toy was a bit apart. Then Peter tried to fix it back. After that fixing experience, Peter said he wanted to change the toy to another look (it is a 3 in 1 toy). Then I said, "ok, you can try". Surprisingly, he was able to make most of it. I only needed to help the last bit. He loves it very much (Picture above). Then the next day, he wanted to change the look again. I said, "of couse, you can try again and see how much you can do it yourself." Yes, he made it (Picture below).

Garden Hard Work

We have been doing the garden for a few weeksssss. We want to change the garden so we can have more flowers in the garden. First we consulted some friends and family how to do it and we got the right tools from shop & friends. Then we started to take out the bamboo and bamboo roots, it was very hard work. Everytime bit by bit, and finally we took the last bamboo root out last Saturday. The next thing we need to do is, to put good soil in and then plant new flowers.

Although this project was not an easy one done, Wim did most of the hard work. We enjoy the process, and we also learned a lot from doing it. We need to specially thanks our friends Joanne, Marcel and Wim's dad.
